Least Expensive Auto Insurance
Question by zugurudumba: What if insurance businesses have no money to indemnify in case of a disaster?
Following the disaster in Japan, I read somewhere that the insurance businesses have to pay somewhere between 14 to 33 billion dollars to Japanese citizens.
I’m positive they’ll cough up the dollars, but I’m curious, what occurs when an insurance business has not sufficient dollars to spend? Are there some guidelines and regulations in place so that the businesses cannot insure more than they can afford to spend?
Very best answer:
Answer by plain ol’ bill
They would be shut down long before that by regulators.
